Diinolylmethane (DIM) is a compound derived from the breaking down, through chewing, chopping or juicing, of the cell walls of Indole-3 Carbinol found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and cabbage. The healthful reputation of these foods rests, in part, on the metabolic effects of DIM in the body.
